We stayed at Glebe Barn for three nights, what a fantastic find! Jan & Steve could not have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The cottage was very nice, with everything you would need, dog friendly too. Everything was to a very high standard with excellent heating plus a wood burner, super showers and a comfy living room. The location was all you could ask for if you like it quiet! And if you are lucky enough to get some clear nights the star gazing is fantastic. Top marks, we will be back 🙂

This is a nice place that is warm & cosy everything is thought of including your dog's so if you forget anything it's most likely to be provided for you to use. We will be going again next year 2023

Just returned from a weeks' holiday here. The cottage has good quality furniture and everything you need, home from home. Lovely soft towels and plentiful. Great enclosed safe garden for our small dog. Jan, the owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The countryside is beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the area which is very "up hill and down dale", walking shoes/boots essential, don't rely on just trainers!

We’ve just spent 10 nights at Glebe Barn (family of 4 - children 7 and 4 years plus 3 small dogs!) and had a great time. The barn itself is spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you might need but don’t really want to bring with you such as cleaning items, spare bedding and loads of towels, dog bowls/beds/biscuits, kitchen items (tea/coffee/some basic foods/eggs/oil/spices/dish washer tablets etc). We got a Sainsburys food delivery who had no trouble finding the barn and a Thai takeaway delivered one evening (which was very good) from Cleobury. Jan and Steve who own the barn live next door but are not at all obtrusive yet are always on hand if you need anything. They let the children feed the chickens and groom the Shetland ponies which they really enjoyed. The also directed us as to where all the local footpaths were and where we could explore on their land - our favourite was the small patch of woodland where the kids had a great time building a den. Despite its peaceful and rural location we found lots to do in area, all within a 30-60 minute drive - Severn Valley railway, loads of National Trust estates, Ludlow Castle, Ironbridge - all of which were both dog and child friendly which was great. However it was nice to also just be able to relax at the barn, for the kids to play in the garden and to explore the surrounding fields and woodland with the children and dogs. So all in all a lovely holiday and we would not hesitate to recommend Glebe barn to other guests.

We had a fantastic experience here at Glebe Barn. Jan and Steve couldn't have gone out of their way more if they tried eventhough it was part of their daily routine. They were fantastic hosts and couldn't have been more welcoming. From the minute we booked to the minute we left, everything was amazing. They have thought of everything, which allows you to have a home from home experience. Ample space to live and walk the dog. Fall in love with nature being here as there are plenty of walks you can do. There isn't much around but the shops and local villages are a short drive. Loved the little things, which just show they go out of their way to make your stay accommodating: wellies in every size; dog treats, fresh eggs, fresh flowers, dressing gown-the list could go on. Give Glebe Barn a go, lovely experience. Would love to come back! X

Stayed here for a second visit but this time with our granddaughter and her friend both aged 11. They both had the most amazing time. They really enjoyed Blists Hill museum - especially the school visit. The school master was amazing and they couldn’t believe this is how children used to be treated at school. For us “older ones” we had so much fun reciting our times tables like it used to be done. Also hilarious when we were “told off” for wearing rings or watches, or having nail varnish on. Also visited Ironbridge and had a glorious day out. The best part for the girls was helping to collect the hens eggs with Jan and also seeing the horses. Lovely relaxing half term break. We will definitely be back.

Had a 3 day break back in early May and had a brilliant time. Jan couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. A quiet place to enjoy the countryside, chill and recharge your batteries. Loved meeting the dogs & horses and Jerry the Shetland pony is just gorgeous. We will be back without a doubt.
